Lush favourites

I am a strong believer in self indulgence. I love buying myself a few payday treats and each month that involves a trip to lush! Personally I feel after a long shift at work there is nothing better than lighting a candle, putting on a face mask and having a sweet smelling bubbly bath. I have a few favourites from Lush that I like to repurchase each pay day which are the following:

1)  The comforter bubble bar for me is my favourite. The smell is insane. It smells of blackcurrant which gives a sweet and fruity smell to your bath. A bubble bar is completely different to a bath bomb, with the bubble bar you crumble off a quarter and sprinkle over the bottom of your empty bath then you simply run the water and wait for the magic to happen. Whereas, with the bath bomb you drop it in the already run bath. I love the idea of a bubble bar as you can break off a have 4 baths from it whereas with the bath bomb you get 1. The comforter bubble bar creates a pink foamy bath which adds a smell to your skin that lasts for hours! you can also get the shower gel which matches this smell which is also amazing.
2)  On the theme of bubble bars another favourite is Rose jam Bubbleroon bubble bar. My favourite scent ever is rose. I adore the smell I have perfume, candles and a bedroom infuser with the scent of it. So, as you can imagine nothing makes me happier than having a rose scented bath. This bubble bar is smaller so you'd only get 2 baths out of it but for £3.95 can you complain. In the bath it creates a baby pink glitter foamy bath. The smell  also lasts for many hours afterwards.
3)  One thing i adore about Lush is that they go all out and create limited edition things for annual events such as Christmas and Easter etc. Unfortunately, this means that they only appear once a year so if you love something stock up! For me that was Snow fairy body conditioner. I fell in love well and truly. This body conditioner is part of the Christmas collection.  A body conditioner is something you use after shower gel, you rub all over and its leaves you feeling silky and soft. This body conditioner smells of cotton candy and is baby pink with blue/purple glitter. This leaves your skin smelling of cotton candy for hours with a gentle glow due to the glitter. I loved it so much I ended up buying 4 pots to last the year.

4)  For many years i have repurchased Bubblegum Lipscrub. I always suffer from dry lip
s in the winter and for me this helps SOOO much. It has sugar in which helps rub off excess dead/ dry skin. It comes in all different flavours and is edible (to some extent). I will honestly never stop repurchasing this as its so good and helps so much if ,like me,  you wear a lot of liquid lipsticks.

5)  The next thing for me is the holy grail of all face masks which is Cup of coffee. This for me smells insane and if you love the smell of coffee you too will die and go to heaven. The coffee face mask helps exfoliate your skin and give it a healthy , moisturised glow. I use this 3-5 times a week, a massive overkill but I love it too much. To apply I use a morphe foundation brush and put all over the face. I then leave on for 10-35 mins and then wash off with hot soapy water. The small coffee granules helps exfoliate all dead and dry skin leaving you as soft and as glowy as can be. This mask is great as you store it in your draws and lasts 6-8 months unlike their fresh face masks which last 3 weeks.

Overall each time I have visited my local Lush (Plymouth), I have ben greeted so friendly I end up buying the shop and leaving with 10,000000 samples.  The holy grails I have found from Lush I will use until I die I love them that much. Below I will link all of the products incase you wish to browse further.

lots of love
